Challenger Valves: Expanding into New Industries
News
For many years, Challenger Valves has adapted and evolved its product range and capabilities to meet the demands of the water industry. Our growth has been driven by customer demand and investment into complex infrastructure projects, pushing us to perform better and innovate continuously.
In 2024, we took a significant step forward by purchasing a parcel of land on Wheeler Street in Shepparton, Victoria. With over 12 months of meticulous planning and paperwork, the construction of our new warehouse has commenced.
The new warehouse on Wheeler Street is scheduled to be completed by early 2026. This state-of-the-art facility will enable us to enhance our production capabilities, streamline our operations, and better serve our expanding customer base.
Current Warehouse Limitations:
- Logistics: Inefficient loading and unloading access for long vehicles
- Warehousing: Limited pallet spacing (currently overflowing)
- Manufacturing: Manufacturing capabilities are confined to workshop floor space hindering investment into new machinery & technologies.
- Administration: Communication and IT infrastructure hindered by office location and design.
- Production: Limited on space causing inefficient picking and packing to production assemble line.
