Background / Location;

Challenger Valves head office is located in Shepparton, north of Melbourne in central Victoria, with a 2400m² purpose built facility, which includes production (manufacturing, fabrication and assembly), marketing, distribution, warehousing and testing. The commitment by the directors to re-invest profits back into the company demonstrates Challenger’s commitment to its customers, employee’s and long-term commitment to the Australian market.

 

Challenger operate branches in Brisbane, Melbourne, Newcastle and Sydney, supporting an Australia wide distributor network.

 

History

Challenger has been producing “Challenger Butterfly Valves” since establishment in 1984 and provides high quality product lines with optimum performance and reliability, backed by a professional team delivering superior service and cost effective solutions to our clients.

 

Quality

Challenger provide in-house testing and distributes a range of products that meet or exceeds the highest Australian and International Standards, many of which carry the coveted Australian Standards Mark. The company is ISO 9001 accredited and are independently audited by SAI Global Australia for product quality, service and performance to the relevant standards.

 

In – house testing facilities

Every Challenger Valve supplied is individually tested, serial numbered and tagged prior to despatch. Challenger provides client or third party witness testing at its head office facility in Shepparton, Victoria.

 

Service vehicle

Challenger provides a fully maintained service vehicle for on-site support and commissioning. This service also includes valves and actuator repair and maintenance.

 

Actuator supply and assembly

Challenger provides a complete range of in-house actuation packages including: pneumatic, electric and hydraulic devices all of which are functionally tested prior to despatch. A range of accessories, controls and devices form part of our control packages. Every actuation package is tested, tagged by trade service technicians, ensuring product traceability and performance.

 

Project supply

Challenger have supplied many major infrastructure projects, providing on-time deliveries for projects with critical completion dates. Challenger operate a dedicated project team to ensure seamless delivery of projects, including ongoing commissioning and service support via our service vehicle and technical staff.
